Sh*t happens. A slang we said to one another during the Obafemi Awolowo University days when shit really happens. We use such word to encouragement a brethren. Sometimes it’s our fault, sometimes it’s just an unfortunate coincidence. But by taking responsibility, we can learn how to manage disappointment and make better plans for the future.
STOP BLAMING YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES
Some people are born rich. Some are born poor. Fingers they say and we can confirm are not equal. We can’t always control our circumstances, but we can control how we react to them and overcome challenges. Focus on the things you can control, and forget about the things you can’t.
STOP CALLING SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE “LUCKY”
Lasting success rarely comes as the result of luck, you have to position yourself correctly to recognize opportunity and be able to act when it appears. That positioning is the result of being perceptive and taking action!
STOP FEELING
We are defined by our reactions to the hardships in our life, not by the hardships themselves. Keep your head up and keep moving – this is the single difference between success and failure
STOP BEING A B*TCH
Life will try to beat you down, but it can only win if you let it. Develop a desire to perform, even in uncomfortable situations, and you’ll already be ahead of 99% of your competition. Remember the word ‘Resilience’. Only people who persevere wins a crown. Stay winning.
